STORIA della IDEAL FORM TEAM srl La IFT nasce come industria di mobili di design ed inizia la produzione con la libreria BOOK disegnata nel 1969 dal designer Titti Fabiani. Nel 1972 la famiglia Geli acquista le quote degli altri soci e muta il nome in IDEAL FORM TRADITIONAL che poi diverrà, nel 1974, IDEAL FORM TEAM. Negli stessi anni, l’altra ditta di famiglia, la "Geli srl" (produttrice di armadiature componibili) inizia a collaborare con diversi designers tra cui Bruno Munari e gli Architetti Gigi e Pepe Tanzi istaurando rapporti durevoli e proficui da cui hanno origine linee di successo come DRESS , DANCE e DIGIT. Nel 1984 viene effettuata la fusione tra la "IFT" e la "Geli srl" a cui segue nell’ anno successivo un aumento di capitale sociale motivato dalla necessità di investimenti tecnologici . Nella gestione dell’ impresa, negli anni seguenti, si affiancano al titolare i figli Giovanni e Giuliano ed in tempi recenti Giampaolo. Dopo un ventennio di attività rivolta alla produzione di mobili per l’area domestica, agli inizi degli anni novanta, si intraprende la produzione di prodotti che rispondano alle esigenze delle attività lavorative dell’ uomo negli uffici (pareti divisorie e attrezzate, arredi direzionali e operativi) grazie anche alla collaborazione con nuovi designers tra cui Werther Toffoloni ( PIANA ), Paolo ed Enzo Ghirardelli ( EASY ).

BACKGROUND of IDEAL FORM TEAM srl I.F.T. came into being as a designer furniture company and started production with the BOOK bookcase designed by Titti Fabiani in 1972. In 1972 the Geli family bought out the other partners and changed the name to IDEAL FORM TRADITIONAL that was to become, IDEAL FORM TEAM in 1974; in the same years the family's other company Geli srl (modular cupboard manufacturer) began to collaborate with different designers including Bruno Munari and Architects Gigi and Pepe Tanzi establishing long-lasting and profitable relationships from which successful lines such as DRESS , DANCE and DIGIT sprung. IFT and Geli srl merged in 1984 and this was followed the next year by a capital stock increase motivated by the need for technological investment. Over the following years the owner was joined by sons Giovanni and Giuliano in the management of the business and, most recently, son Giampaolo has come into the company as well. After some twenty years of operation orientated towards the manufacture of household furniture, manufacture began of products catering to people's working requirements in the office (partitions and fitted walls, executive and operational furniture), in the Nineties, partly thanks to collaboration with new designers such as Werther Toffoloni (PIANA) , Paolo and Enzo Ghirardelli (EASY).
